Synico Staffing is currently seeking a qualified candidate to work as a Desktop Support Specialist for a Fortune 500 company in Memphis, TN. THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION tentatively scheduled to run until 9/30/2010.
The Desktop Support Specialist will provide phone and desktop end user support for hardware & software issues. Duties include software installs, hardware installs, imaging, printer support, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, PDA support, telecommunication systems, mobile devices and OS installations. Will ensure issues are resolved or escalated in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of customer service, provide technical documentation, user training, enforce and update policies and procedures, and maintain up to date records.
Configures hardware and software for PC's, printers and networks, Images new and existing computers with images and software, Troubleshoots hardware and software problems, Supports IT-endorsed hardware and software applications, Assists and manages the moves and installations of new and existing equipment
